We are nobody! (In particular.)

We're just a husband and wife duo who travel to cities around the North West UK for work, usually for a couple of nights at a time. Depending on the budget, we stay in everything from budget hotels to swanky apartments and everything in between.

After staying in so many places, we realised we'd become accidental experts in the tiny details that make a room either a pleasure to stay in... or quietly baffling.

From bizarre bathroom layouts and fans that sound like they're preparing for take-off, to beds that are wonderfully comfy one week and mysteriously lumpy the next, we've seen a fair bit.

This isn't a luxury travel blog.

It's a collection of honest, good-humoured observations from people who actually have to live in these rooms, even if only for forty-eight hours.
